Shotcrete Penetrometer (VFG)
Shotcrete Penetrometer (VFG) is a complete, portable system designed to measure the compressive strength of young sprayed concrete during the early curing stage, in accordance with BS EN 14488-2 (Method A).
Featuring an intuitive touchscreen display, the system records readings in Newtons (N) and automatically converts results to MPa based on the aggregate size. This enables fast, reliable batch testing with immediate on-screen review. Converted MPa values are clearly presented in a tabulated format.
With an accuracy of ±1 N—exceeding the requirements of the test standard—the Shotcrete Penetrometer (VFG) provides dependable results and can be used alongside other test methods as the shotcrete continues to cure.
